The Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation (Foundation) and the new Animals for Life (AFL) Foundation have united to host the sixth annual Rural-Urban Community Auction. The online event will be held Nov. 1-30 with proceeds supporting grantsmanship, scholarship and community outreach programs.

Bidding will occur online at www.ofbf.cmarket.com on items such as get-away travel packages, home goods, sports memorabilia, collectibles and unique adventure items. More items will continue to be entered into the auction throughout the event.

County Farm Bureaus throughout Ohio are creating unique items that represent the best of their communities, "said Foundation Director Dale Arnold. "Several businesses, organizations and friends of Farm Bureau who support Foundation and AFL programs are donating items for the event, too."

"The Animals for Life Foundation is excited about this partnership and looks forward to working with the Ohio Farm BureauFoundation," said AFL Executive Director, David White.
Online bidders can stay involved in the auction through the entire process by using the "Absentee Bidding" option and are also invited to attend the final live session. Further instructions are available at the auction's website. The auction is part of CMarket's national Bidding for Good network, which connects individuals with unique charity auctions across the nation.

The Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation, and Animals for Life Foundation are non-profit, public, charitable 501 (c) (3) organizations. The Foundation supports projects that focus on education, environmental and economic development issues concerning agriculture and its impact on consumers and communities.
